POLICIES

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SHORT STAY (1-29 nights)

We understand that plans can change, so here’s how we handle it:

  • If you need to cancel and the check-in date is at least 14 days away, we’re happy to give you a full refund.
  • If you cancel between 8-13 days before check-in, we can give you a 50% refund.
  • We don’t provide refunds if you cancel 7 days or less before check-in.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR MEDIUM STAY (30+ nights)

If you cancel a mid-term stay of 30 nights or more, your first payment for the first 30 nights will be non-refundable if the cancellation occurs 30 nights or less prior to your check-in date.

If you cancel after check-in, the following 30 nights of your reservation is non-refundable. This mid-term cancellation policy is automatically applied to all reservations of 30 nights or more.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

This is a binding contract between you and Azalea Grove Getaway. Your payment method will be billed in full for your rental dates at the time of reservation. If, after departure, you have additional charges, we will provide a revised bill and your payment method will be charged within 7 days of your check-out date. In case of conflict in the billing provided to you, the final revised billing controls.

Minimum check-in age: 21

ALCOHOL: Alcohol consumption by minors is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including rental units. You may be asked to leave with no refund if this occurs.

NO-SHOWS: In the event of a no-show, no refund will be provided.

NO SMOKING: No smoking is allowed inside any rental unit, its patio/porch or the campsite. Smoking is permitted ONLY on our designated outside community patio. We are in a high-risk forest fire zone and take this policy very seriously. If you fail to follow it, we may ask you to leave and charge your credit card $300 to cover smoke-cleaning fees within your rental unit or any clean-up outside your unit.

CLEANING FEE: A designated cleaning fee for each unit is added when you reserve your getaway. We will charge you $50 per hour if excessive cleaning is needed (more than our normal allotted amount of time for your unit) after you check out. Please leave your unit as you found it; see departure instructions in your On-Line Pre-Arrival email.

SPECIAL ALLERGIES: We are not responsible for any allergies, sensitivities or intolerances to (but not limited to): a particular fabric, material, cleaning product or food you may have. Such allergies, sensitivities or intolerances to items on our property will not be grounds for cancellation after check-in.

DAMAGE FEES: We have a very detailed inventory list for each rental unit and our property. If we find any damaged (beyond normal wear and tear) or missing items after you check out, we reserve the right to charge your card on file for the replacement value of the items.

PERSONAL SAFETY AND POSSESSIONS: There is no safe or lockable storage on the property, and we are not responsible for any property you may bring. You agree to hold Jane Archer, Tom Archer and Azalea Grove Getaway harmless for any damages to yourself or your personal property resulting from accident, injury, or loss due to weather, flood, defective construction, fire, theft, or any other reason. Azalea Grove Getaway is not responsible for personal property brought to the property or left behind after you check out.

NO PARTIES AND NO LOUD NOISES AFTER 10 PM:  Please be respectful of our natural environment and your immediate neighbors. You may be asked to leave with no refund if such noises continue after we notify you of this violation.

RENTAL OCCUPANTS: Rental occupants: Your reservation is for a specific number of overnight guests. We reserve the right to evict any unauthorized people above that number.

GUEST BEHAVIOR: Guests will not be permitted to compromise the health, safety and security aspects of Azalea Grove Getaway at any time. We reserve the right to ask any guests to leave Azalea Grove Getaway with no refund due to disrespectful conduct, behavior or any other safety or security reasons. This includes expressing yourself in a discriminating manner and harassing or endangering other guests. This determination will be at the sole discretion of Azalea Grove Getaway.

GUNS: Guns are not permitted in our sanctuary. Please respect this. You may be asked to leave with no refund if you violate this policy.

PETS: We are pet-friendly! Our non-refundable pet fee is $30 per pet per stay. You must add all pets to your reservation at the time you reserve your room. If you violate the following rules, you may be asked to leave with no refund:

(1) Pets must be on regular flea treatment.
(2) Keep your pet on a leash at all times when outside.
(3) Do not leave your pet unattended whether you are present or away.
(4) Dispose of all your pet’s waste in the Leanin’ Shed.
(5) If yours is a furniture pet, bring clean sheets for the upholstery.
(6) You are responsible for all damage caused by your pet.
(7) This is not a dog park. Dogs are not allowed to run loose, bark incessantly or chase wildlife.

CHANGES: Azalea Grove Getaway reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
